Ozone as an Umbrella of the Earth

 INTRODUCTION

               Today I'm presenting the topic ozone as an umbrella of the earth from the chapter blanket of the earth.Ozone layer is called ozone umbrella/shield because it filters out the harmful, high energy ultra violet radiations coming from the sun.The ozone layer in the stratosphere absorbs a portion of the radiation from the sun, preventing it from reaching the planet's surface. Most importantly, it absorbs the portion of UV light called UVB. 

 OBJECTIVES
